TL;DR - I’m leaving tumblr for the forseeable future/forever
Hi! It’s Alice. I have some stuff I want to say and I’ll start at (sort of) the beginning.
When I went to uni, I was very much a “fangirl” and was very active, especially on twitter, but also on tumblr. Throughout my first year, I gradually stopped being a “fangirl”. I still liked the things (except Sherlock s3) but didn’t obsess over them, and lost my liking of the whole fandom part of twitter.
I was, however, still active on tumblr. I made some good friends on here, I liked reblogging gifs from tv shows etc even though I wasn’t as into them as before. I did hate my URL as it showed me to be a fangirl when I truly wasn’t anymore, but I was known for it due to some popular posts and friends. Lately though, as I’ve started work, I’ve grown tired of tumblr in general and have mostly just queued stuff and to be honest, I don’t really care about most of the things I’m blogging.
Therefore, I’ve decided to leave. I’ve grown out of it: I’m legally an adult and I’ve mentally/physically aged about 5 years in the last 9 months so it’s not for me anymore. I might return, but probably not. I will be ostarcised for this but I’m thinking of setting up what you might call a “hipster” blog because I think they’re beautiful and interesting. But it’s officially goodbye to the fandom side.
To everyone who I’ve talked to lots (too many to name) or just anyone who cares slightly, feel free to inbox me and I’ll give you a new contact - my askbox is still open and I’ll get emails telling me so I will reply privately.
Other than that, thanks for the memories, the lovely asks, the complements and of course the notes. Goodbye!

Panem today. Panem Tomorrow. Panem forever.

I don’t know what sparked me to draw this
I don’t understand why “not copping a feel” - i.e. not inappropriately touching a woman in public - is praised like this? Sure, Tom Hiddleston seems like a great bloke, but the fact he’s considered an absolutely angel (when really he’s just polite and fairly nice, like ANYONE should be) just shows the kind of society we’re in where not being a dick seems to merit worship
